Overview
Insurance and reinsurance are important parts of Faegre Drinker’s heritage and among our greatest strengths. We began offering insurance counsel nearly 100 years ago and today maintain one of the nation’s largest and most respected insurance practices. We assist insurance companies, third-party administrators, and other insurance businesses and professionals in covering related legal needs across virtually all insurance lines. We provide M&A, transactional, regulatory, and market conduct compliance services as well as litigation, public policy, and insolvency counsel to publicly and privately held insurance entities. Partnering with you, we take charge of litigation — whether single-plaintiff lawsuits or multijurisdictional class actions — and defend you in regulatory enforcement disputes. We form, advise, and manage captive insurers, risk purchasing groups, and risk retention groups. And we understand InsurTech, Big Data, privacy, and cybersecurity. Faegre Drinker has the depth and breadth of experience to handle the legal and public policy needs of players, large and small, in the insurance industry.
