Overview
Jason Gosselin is a senior trial lawyer with a national litigation practice focused on complex insurance, commercial, and constitutional disputes. He has served as lead counsel in jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations throughout the United States and regularly represents clients in federal and state appellate courts.
Jason concentrates his practice on representing insurers and financial services companies in high-exposure coverage and sales practices litigation. He has extensive experience handling matters involving life, health, disability, and property and casualty insurance, as well as annuities, debt cancellation products, and fidelity bonds. His work frequently involves defending insurers against claims of bad-faith handling, improper sales practices, ERISA violations, and class actions. Jason also represents insurers in market conduct examinations and regulatory enforcement proceedings.
Beyond insurance litigation, Jason advises and represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract actions, employment matters, nuisance and trespass claims, and civil racketeering cases.
While an aggressive litigator, Jason strives to protect clients from the disruptive and costly impact that litigation can have on business operations. Above all, Jason seeks to integrate clients’ business imperatives into an efficient strategy to tackle their most critical legal problems.

Pro Bono
Jason is deeply committed to the firm’s pro bono mission and has devoted substantial time throughout his career to representing individuals and organizations in matters involving fundamental constitutional rights. His pro bono work has included cases addressing free speech and association, religious liberty, legislative prayer, excessive force, and due process violations.
Among his notable representations, Jason served as lead counsel to the Cradle of Liberty Council of the Boy Scouts of America in a long-running and highly publicized dispute with the city of Philadelphia, which sought to evict the council from a city-owned facility. Arguing that the city’s actions were politically motivated and violated the council’s First Amendment right to be free from compelled speech, Jason obtained a federal jury verdict in the council’s favor, securing injunctive relief and an award of attorney’s fees.
More recently, Jason represented a public school teacher who had been falsely accused of assaulting a student and obtained a $950,000 settlement from the school district.
