Real Estate & Construction Disputes

Overview

We partner with real estate and construction stakeholders to resolve complex disputes, emphasizing cost-effective, minimally disruptive solutions tailored to your business needs. Through mediation, arbitration, and industry-specific alternative dispute resolution options, we seek to resolve issues before litigation on terms favorable to clients. When litigation proves necessary, our professionals leverage strategic skill, depth of knowledge, and deep experience across the real estate and construction spectrum in federal and state courts. We help construction companies and their customers resolve delay claims, changes and differing site condition disputes, payment claims, insurance coverage issues, breach of implied warranty claims, and construction defect matters. We represent lenders and mortgage holders in foreclosures, and developers, property owners, landlords, tenants, and other real estate entities in all sorts of commercial real estate disputes, including those involving architects and other design professionals, commercial lease disputes, land use and zoning disputes, title insurance disputes, bankruptcy-related matters, joint venture disputes, special district and other financing litigation, access claims, general contractual disputes, quiet title, trespass, adverse possession, and other land rights disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and real property valuation issues. We also have experience in virtually all aspects of renewable energy development disputes.
