Construction & Real Estate Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Justin represents clients in all stages of construction and real estate dispute resolution from pre-litigation counseling through trial and appeal. He brings a practical approach to litigation, taking care to always center the strategic goals of his clients, in a wide range of construction and real estate disputes.
He also has significant experience in general commercial litigation, labor and employment, and product liability. Focusing his practice on construction and real estate disputes, Justin leverages broad litigation to act as a creative problem solver to resolve disputes on behalf of a wide range of clients.
Prior Experience
Justin brings well-rounded perspective to complex litigation matters, drawn from diverse experiences across multiple jurisdictions. Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, he lived in Madrid where he was in-house at Fever, a U.S.-based global tech and media company. As global lead litigation and liability management counsel, Justin partnered with business leaders to provide a practical approach to dispute resolution and compliance in a wide range of matters spanning commercial, consumer, labor and employment, intellectual property, and merger and acquisition law. Justin advised C-suite and management on the financial impact of litigation, integrating risk analysis into broader business planning and strategic decision-making.
Previously, he served as a judicial law clerk for nine district court judges in Fargo, North Dakota, gaining invaluable insight into the decision-making process and the inner workings of the courtroom. Prior to clerking, Justin practiced at a leading Minnesota law firm, where he focused on commercial litigation and product liability, developing a keen understanding of high-stakes disputes.
Personal Interests
In his free time, Justin enjoys any opportunity to get outside, traveling, and seeing live music at any of the Twin Cities’ vibrant venues.
