Bernard (B.J.) E. Nodzon



B.J. Nodzon drafts and negotiates billions of dollars' worth of construction, design, automation, supply chain and procurement contracts. He represents project owners, developers, contractors, engineers and designers in connection with some of the most significant projects throughout the country. He helps clients manage and evaluate risks and assists clients in resolving disputes.
B.J. has provided strategic counsel on projects across a wide range of industries, including:
  • Energy projects and facilities, including transmission lines, wind farms, biofuel facilities, solar facilities and power plants.
  • Industrial, manufacturing and automation, including drafting over $1 billion in automation and conveyor system contracts for clients throughout the country.
  • Health care facilities, including hospitals and drafting more than $100 million in health care storage facilities throughout the U.S., Brazil and Asia.
  • Sports facilities, including parks, stadiums and arenas for NFL, MLB and NBA organizations. 
  • Housing, community development and retail, including work on more than 100 major community development projects throughout the country.

  • Food and agricultural facilities, including the construction of the largest food distribution center in the country

Government Contracts

B.J. advises clients on state and federal government contract issues. He has handled a variety of government contract issues for clients, including bid protests, prevailing wage disputes and claims against the government for unpaid work.
