Government Contracts

Overview

Doing business with the government requires an understanding of the marketplace as well as a firm grasp of the laws and regulations that apply to federal, state, local, and international procurements. Our government contracts team provides the strategic counsel companies need to acquire, negotiate, and perform government contracts. We help position you to achieve your business goals while staying in compliance with complex rules and requirements. We provide all aspects of contracting representation, and we guide you through the creation of businesses and procurement opportunities, as well as through acquisitions and other transactions. We advise on compliance and ethics issues, investigations, internal controls, contract disputes, terminations, and legislative and regulatory requirements and processes. We represent clients in bid protests, claims, qui tam and False Claims Act cases, and other complex litigation and discovery proceedings before federal district and appellate courts, the US Court of Federal Claims, the Boards of Contract Appeals, the Government Accountability Office, and various federal administrative tribunals. We also counsel on how to develop relationships with legislators and policymakers. We work in partnership with you, immersing ourselves in your business and working with you to provide interdisciplinary and holistic solutions to legal and business problems.
