Overview

Deb Mackay assists clients with negotiating and drafting all types of construction and commercial agreements. For more than 20 years, Deb has worked with a range of industry clients to meet their business needs. 

Deb has a deep background in litigating, arbitrating and mediating commercial and construction disputes. She brings this knowledge to her transactional work. She has significant experience in insurance coverage and risk management and advises clients in these areas as well.

Deb previously was a partner with FaegreBD (currently Faegre Drinker) from 2003-09. From 2008-16, she taught business and construction law as well as risk management at the University of Minnesota and elsewhere.

Personal Interests

Outside of her practice, Deb is involved with music and swims with a masters team. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She is a native of Birmingham, England.
