Mackenzie represents clients in complex construction disputes, including contract breaches, construction defects, delay claims, and payment issues. Using her knowledge of both construction law and industry practices, she provides guidance to contractors, developers, property owners, and design professionals through all stages of mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

She is experienced in all stages of high-stakes litigation, including preparation of depositions, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, expert reports, trial preparation, and trial.

Data Centers & Solar Farms

Mackenzie represents owners, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the development and construction of data centers, utility-scale solar facilities, and related infrastructure projects. Her practice includes advising clients on a wide range of construction, electrical, civil, and project development issues that arise throughout the lifecycle of these projects, from planning and procurement through construction and operation.

Mackenzie works closely with project stakeholders to navigate complex disputes involving construction defects, delays, contract administration, permitting, and regulatory compliance. She also assists clients in responding to litigation and other challenges that can impact the development and operation of critical infrastructure, including data centers and renewable energy facilities. Her experience includes addressing issues related to electrical systems, site development, civil construction, utility interconnection, and other operational matters unique to these rapidly growing sectors.

Personal Interests

Mackenzie is a committed fitness enthusiast and a regular at her local F45 gym. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with friends, has recently taken up skiing, and is currently learning to play mahjong.
