Banking & Finance

Overview

Faegre Drinker’s team of banking and finance attorneys provides clients with strategic, focused, and efficient counsel. Leveraging collective decades of experience, we represent lenders and borrowers in structuring and documenting commercial lending transactions, including asset-based and structured financing, debtor-in-possession financing, syndicated loan transactions, and private placements. We advise on lending and regulatory compliance, fiduciary activities, securitizations, electronic banking, payment systems, capital raises, and corporate governance matters. We have a long history of advising clients on corporate and debt restructurings and loan workouts — in and out of the courtroom. We counsel secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, purchasers, committees, indenture trustees, investors and contract counterparties on Section 363 sales, workouts, reorganizations and complex bankruptcies, and litigation.
