Overview
Eirik advises clients on banking and finance matters. His work helps clients advance their business objectives through practical structuring, negotiation, and execution of finance and strategic transactions. By representing both lenders and borrowers, he understands the priorities on each side of a financing and he develops solutions that work for the transaction as a whole. Eirik works with financial institutions, public and private companies, and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies; and his clients span a range of credit profiles, from investment-grade to challenged credits.
His finance experience includes commercial lending, acquisition finance, structured finance, syndicated credit facilities, asset-based lending, revolving and term loans, private placements, letters of credit and related facilities, commercial real estate lending, receivables financing, and Funds at Lloyd's facilities; and Eirik often coordinates with the firm's M&A and private equity teams on financings that are supporting acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
He has handled sophisticated domestic and cross-border financings, including multijurisdictional transactions, for clients in the financial services, insurance, health care, specialty chemical, mining, cable and broadcasting, energy, and real estate sectors.
