Overview
Gloria Liu counsels clients in the financial services industry, with an emphasis on investment company matters. Gloria has experience advising clients on a variety of investment management and securities law matters, including fund formation, reorganization and ongoing operations of investment companies; preparation of various securities filings for open- and closed-end funds; and other matters such as fund mergers and acquisitions, closed-end fund tender offers, preparing proxy statements and drafting exemptive applications.
During law school, Gloria interned with the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She was also a summer associate with Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in 2017 and served as a judicial intern through the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program in Brooklyn, New York.
Prior to law school, she was a corporate accountant with a Pennsylvania-based registered investment advisor.
