Ryan Funk represents and advises management on labor and employment issues in both union and non-union settings. He brings to the table eight years of experience as a field examiner and field attorney with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Ryan's years of experience at the NLRB benefit clients when he tackles thorny traditional labor law matters such as union organizing campaigns, representation proceedings, collective bargaining, union jurisdictional disputes, picketing and strike activity, and Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) proceedings. He understands the agency’s policies, practices and procedures.
Employment Counselor and Litigator
Ryan advises clients on employment-related matters, pragmatically devising options that balance business and legal needs. When clients are faced with employment litigation, Ryan defends them in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.
While in law school, Ryan worked as a consultant to the International Labor Organization’s Washington, D.C. office.
