NLRB and Labor Policy under the Trump Administration
2025 Labor & Employment Law Developments: Staying on Top of Your Game
Webinar
Overview
Federal labor law is likely to shift significantly under the Trump administration, and all employers, union and non-union, should prepare for how those shifts may impact their businesses. In this webinar, Faegre Drinker attorneys Matt Fontana, Ryan Funk and Brian Garrison will explore personnel action taken by the Trump administration, including the termination of an National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) member and the NLRB’s general counsel, and the virtual elimination of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. They will discuss what these personnel actions mean for labor policy, as well as the functioning of the NLRB and its regions. They will also discuss policy changes implemented by the Trump administration's appointed acting general counsel, including revocation of several general counsel memorandums, and anticipated shifts in NLRB precedent once the Trump administration has made its NLRB appointments. They will also provide practical tips and guidance for how to successfully navigate these changes in a union and non-union environment.
