Graebel Companies Enters Business Combination with Reside Worldwide

Graebel Companies Inc., a family-owned workforce mobility and managed services company founded in 1950, entered into a business combination with Reside Worldwide Inc., a provider of workforce housing solutions and a portfolio company of Canadian private equity firm Westbridge Capital Ltd. Faegre Drinker advised Graebel on the transaction with a team drawing on the firm’s corporate, tax, benefits and executive compensation, labor and employment, intellectual property, privacy, real estate, and government and regulatory affairs attorneys.

Graebel supports organizations across 190 countries, combining strategic advisory services, technology, and a curated global partner network to help organizations move talent with greater visibility, agility, and control. Through its portfolio of hospitality brands and proprietary technology platform, Reside provides business travelers, relocating employees, and extended-stay guests with access to more than 3.4 million professionally vetted and globally compliant accommodations across more than 60 countries.

Together, the companies are building a new model designed to help organizations simplify complexity, improve employee experiences, and support talent more effectively. Westbridge Capital will continue to support the combined businesses, and the Graebel family will retain a minority investment in the combined company.
