C. Parker Gilbert
Associate
Overview
C. Parker Gilbert counsels public and privately held companies on a variety of corporate matters, including transactions, governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior Experience
Parker has gained diverse experience in corporate, commercial and litigation matters through legal internships and clerkships with both in-house and private practice settings. She has drafted and negotiated a wide range of agreements — including nondisclosure, lease, vendor and partnership contracts — and supported complex corporate transactions, such as stock conversions and intellectual property transfers. Her work has also included ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, managing data privacy matters under GDPR and CCPA, and assisting with the preparation of public company filings.
In addition to her corporate and transactional work, Parker has contributed to litigation teams by drafting pleadings, motions and discovery documents across real estate, construction, bankruptcy and domestic relations cases. She has also supported legal and regulatory initiatives in the sports industry, revising competition rules and researching athlete management practices, and earlier in her career worked in public relations, developing media strategies and managing client communications.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Parker enjoys volunteering with Best Buddies Colorado and Special Olympics Colorado. She also takes advantage of all Colorado has to offer, including skiing, hiking and camping with her miniature dachshund, Linguine. On game day, you can find Parker back on her law school campus, cheering on the DU Pioneers.
