Eric counsels clients on complex real estate issues. He represents buyers, sellers, investors, landlords, and tenants on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial and industrial leasing transactions. Eric regularly advises clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, where he helps strategic buyers structure transactions, assess risk, and manage real estate diligence. He is also experienced in real estate financing, representing both borrowers and lenders in secured lending transactions, including construction and permanent financing. He frequently advises on local law matters under Minnesota law, including Minnesota mortgages and related real property considerations, and is a trusted resource for national lenders and borrowers navigating the state's real estate finance practices.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Eric served as an associate at an AmLaw top 10 firm. Before entering the legal profession, Eric served as a media consultant and advertising account executive at two newspapers in Portland, Oregon.
Personal Interests
Eric is passionate about cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Minnesota Twins and the Oregon Ducks.
