Josh Mahoney



Josh Mahoney represents clients facing complex commercial disputes, including construction litigation and mediation, criminal and civil antitrust, breach of contract and business torts. His practice also focuses on internal investigations and white collar matters. He has significant experience navigating disputes through all stages of litigation around the country in federal and state courts and in private arbitration.

Previous Experience

Josh previously practiced commercial litigation at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago. He began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Melloy of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and for the Honorable Rebecca Pallmeyer of the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to that, Josh served as a paralegal for Iowa Legal Aid through the AmeriCorps program.

Personal Interests

While in college, Josh was a football Academic All-America selection for the University of Northern Iowa Panthers. He was a finalist for the Academic Heisman and received the Walter Byers Award, which is the highest academic award the NCAA administers. Josh continues to maintain an active lifestyle in Denver and enjoys biking, yoga and competitive running.
