David J.F. Gross

David Gross is a trial lawyer and head of the firm’s Silicon Valley office. David's winning trial record led the American Lawyer to name him one of the top 50 litigators in the United States under the age of 45, and the National Law Journal recognized David's complete defense jury verdict in a patent infringement jury trial in Orange County, California, as one of the top 10 trial victories in the United States. In April 2022, David and his team won a complete defense jury verdict for Seagate in a billion-dollar patent infringement jury trial in the Western District of Pennsylvania brought by a former professor of Carnegie Mellon University. See Law360's coverage of the case here.

Before moving to Silicon Valley in 2012, David practiced in Minnesota, where, based on his trial victories, he was a three-time recipient of the Minnesota Lawyer’s Attorney of the Year recognition and a member of the Minnesota Lawyer’s Circle of Excellence.
