Overview

Kelly Horein helps companies build and protect their brands worldwide. She counsels clients on all aspects of domestic and international brand management and e-commerce, navigating the entire lifecycle of trademarks from creation and clearance, to filing and registration, and finally to maintenance and enforcement. Kelly manages significant global portfolios containing thousands of trademarks and advises companies ranging from startups to large multinational corporations on their intellectual property assets. 

Kelly is a trusted advisor who assists clients with unifying the ownership of global trademark portfolios after the occurrence of business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions. She has strategized with trademark counsel in more than 150 countries to develop the most efficient ways of recording ownership updates with local trademark offices and works closely with clients to prepare documentation required for the integration of global portfolios.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Kelly enjoys playing the cello and performs with the D.C. Concert Orchestra.
