Andrew Kassner Discusses Industry Trends for CAA’s Invest: Philadelphia

Chair emeritus and finance and restructuring partner Andrew Kassner was featured in Capital Analytics Associates’ Invest: Philadelphia to share insights on key industry trends and the implementation of AI within the legal sector.

Kassner observed that clients are seeking law firms that offer a coordinated cross-disciplinary array of legal services to address their business objectives. “They appreciate that they can go to one firm that can handle sophisticated business transactions and at the same time also address tariff, sanction, and international trade issues, as well as executive compensation and regulatory matters,” he added.

Kassner also offered his perspective on AI, which has become a main focus for a lot of clients and firms. “Some people are frightened by it because it’s an unknown, but it’s coming, and everyone agrees it will change the way lawyers practice law and serve clients. It’s going to change how our clients operate, so it will affect us as well.”

Additionally, Kassner gave an overview on his outlook for Philadelphia, sharing he believes “it’s a very optimistic and opportunistic time for Philadelphia as a city.”
