Brad Campbell Discusses Potential Government Shutdown Preparations With PLANSPONSOR

In the article “What Would a Government Shutdown Mean for the DOL?,” PLANSPONSOR spoke to benefits and executive compensation partner Brad Campbell about the possibility of a federal government shutdown in the result of a new budget or resolution not being passed in the United States Senate and what it could mean for the Department of Labor (DOL).

Regarding Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), which would see most of its services close during a shutdown, Campbell, a former head of EBSA, said that the DOL agency could take actions necessary to meet judicial deadlines that were set prior to the shutdown.
