PLI’s Understanding Financial Products 2026: Derivatives Products Fundamentals

Investment management partner Ilene Froom joined a panel at Practising Law Institute’s “Understanding Financial Products 2026” conference to provide an introductory overview of derivatives and the products underlying such derivatives.

The session covered the basics of cleared and uncleared derivatives, the current state of derivatives documentation, and the regulatory authority of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
