FX Reboot: Modernizing the 1998 Definitions

Investment management partner Ilene Froom spoke at the International Swaps and Derivations Association’s (ISDA) Annual Legal Forum in New York, a yearly conference attended by over 150 market participants. 

Ilene's panel titled, "FX Reboot: Modernizing the 1998 Definitions," discussed ISDA's forthcoming update to the 1998 FX and Currency Option Definitions, set to take effect at the end of 2027. The panel highlighted new definitions reflecting current market and regulatory practices and outlined key milestones for implementation over the next two years.
