Sandy Grannum Selected to Savoy Magazine’s ‘2022 Most Influential Black Lawyers’ List

Business litigation partner Sandy Grannum has been named to Savoy Magazine’s list of the “2022 Most Influential Black Lawyers,” which recognizes Black women who “embody talent, leadership and grace while executing critical roles for some of the largest corporations in the world.”

Savoy Magazine’s selection committee, including its editorial board and other community leaders, considered more than 500 professionals and selected honorees based on their exemplary record of accomplishments and influence while working to better their communities and inspire others.

A former in-house Wall Street counsel, Grannum ensures that representation of financial and securities industry clients includes careful evaluation of litigation exposure, reputational risk and budgetary concerns. She concentrates on the securities industry, including broker-dealer arbitration, litigation, mediation and regulatory defense. A Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, Grannum has tried more than 60 arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She has also tried arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and JAMS, has handled appeals before the National Adjudicatory Council (NAC), and tries cases and argues appeals in state and federal courts. A recognized leader, Grannum serves on the firm’s governing board, co-chairs the firm’s nationwide securities and financial services practice group, and has been honored for her efforts to promote diversity in the profession and to advance the professional development of other female attorneys.
