Faegre Baker Daniels is representing Seagull Holiday Inc., a leading Chinese travel agency for the Western United States, based in Los Angeles, in the sale of its majority shares to Ctrip.com International, Ltd. (NASDAQ: CTRP).

Ctrip is China's biggest and the world's second-largest travel service provider. Through its acquisition of Seagull, L&L Travel Enterprise (another leading Chinese travel agency for the Eastern United States, based in New York) and ToursforFun (an online travel booking platform in North America), Ctrip controls half of the market share of travel packages sold to Chinese tourists headed to the United States.
