Faegre Drinker represented Everidge, a Minnesota-based provider of commercial cold storage, walk-in coolers/freezers, cold storage doors, mobile cold storage, and cook-chill specialty solutions, in its combination with KPS Global, a majority-owned company of Viessmann Generations Group. KPS Global is a leading provider of custom enclosure solutions for controlled environments.
Following the successful completion of the transaction, Everidge and its associated brands became part of KPS Global, officially combining the two complementary businesses. Everidge's owners, the Kahler family, became a significant minority shareholder in KPS Global with representation on the Board of Directors. The combined, privately-held company has more than 1,700 employees and 12 plants across the United States to serve customers.
