Overview

Page Fleeger advises employers on the employee benefits, retirement plan and executive compensation issues they face. She represents employers of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 50 clients.
Page works with qualified defined benefit pension plans, profit sharing, 401(k) and ESOPs, as well as nonqualified deferred compensation plans, SERPs, and other plans and programs subject to Code Section 409A. She advises on:
  • Plan design and document drafting
  • Plan governance and fiduciary issues
  • Practical resolution of plan administrative problems
  • Compliance with the ever-changing Internal Revenue Code and ERISA

Assisting Employers

Page counsels clients on all types of plan administration issues and assists with employee communication strategies. Page also advises clients on employee benefit design and drafting for retirement plans of all types, including 401(k) and defined benefit plans, as well as nonqualified deferred compensation plans, SERP and arrangements subject to Code Section 409A.

Counseling Providers

Page works with financial service companies in the retirement and IRA market. She helps clients develop, secure and maintain IRS approval of the retirement plans or IRA documents that they offer to their customers. She advises clients on complying with the changing DOL fiduciary and prohibited transaction rules.

Benefits in Corporate Transactions

Page helps buyers and sellers work through the benefits issues associated with corporate changes, from helping sellers prepare for a transaction through assisting buyers with post-transaction benefit integration. She assists clients in negotiating benefit provisions in transaction documents and in identifying benefits-related risks in diligence.

Personal Interests

Page enjoys watching Academy Award nominated films, traveling and planning the next great American novel.
