Nobu Yoda collaborates with clients to build strategic patent portfolios. As an inventor of numerous patents, Nobu speaks inventor. He builds trust as the force behind IP for clients.

Focused technology areas of Nobu include AI; neural networks; mobile/edge/cloud computing; natural language processing; wireless and telecommunication networks; FinTech including distributed, secure transactional processing; and video/image processing. For clients, he leverages 15+ years in managing global businesses and 12+ years of professional engineering help maximize the business value of intellectual property.

Patent Prosecution Experience

Nobu has 1,500+ patent applications in his areas of technology focus prepared and/or prosecuted worldwide. His patent prosecution experience includes prior art search and strategic mapping of technologies.

Prior Experience

Previously, Nobu served as a patent agent with a Denver law firm, with concentrations in systems, software, and telecommunications. His responsibilities included preparing patent applications, conducting disclosure with inventors, responding to office actions and proceeding with appeals, and preparing claim charts.

Nobu has also held senior managerial, directorial, and project management-related positions with multinational companies in the fields of communications technology, computing, and software. He started his career as a software and systems R&D engineer.

Personal Interests

In his free time, Nobu enjoys driving, playing tennis, listening to music, and traveling with his family.
