Information Privacy and Data Protection
Peter assists clients in identifying privacy and information security risks, developing and implementing data governance programs, and complying with federal and state privacy laws. He works with multinational companies to develop global privacy compliance programs and monitors and reports to clients on developments in data privacy laws worldwide.
Peter conducts policy advocacy on behalf of the International Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Privacy Consortium (IPMPC), where he has been instrumental in crafting industry comments on legislative and regulatory proposals related to data privacy in the United States and the European Union. Peter has worked with the IPMPC since it was founded in 2002.
Peter lives in Maryland with his wife, Courtney, three sons and their chocolate Lab, Jeep.
