Leigh Bausinger represents industrial, manufacturing, public utility, transportation and solid waste clients in a variety of environmental litigation and regulatory matters. With over a decade of experience, Leigh advises clients on the remediation of manufacturing sites, handles disputes over property claims, defends against litigation and advises on the redevelopment of contaminated properties.

Energy and Environment

Leigh is experienced representing energy and other clients in environmental matters related to a range of laws and regulations, including:

  • The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA)
  • The Clean Water Act (CWA)
  • The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
  • Pennsylvania’s Clean Streams Law and Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act (HSCA)
  • New Jersey’s Spill Compensation and Control Act
  • Brownfields laws in Pennsylvania (Act 2) and New York

Leigh provides regulatory advice at sites undergoing active remediation, including several large CERCLA sediment sites and manufactured gas plant sites on the East Coast. She also provides due diligence for transactions involving complex environmental issues and common law tort and contract claims stemming from environmental and property issues.
