The Yale Professor 401(k) Fee Study: Practical Considerations for Bank Trustees

Los Angeles partners Fred Reish and Bruce Ashton and Chicago associate Joshua Waldbeser co-authored "The Yale Professor 401(k) Fee Study: Practical Considerations for Bank Trustees" in the ABA Trust Letter.

The article analyzed a recent study of 401(k) plan costs performed by law professors Ian Ayres of Yale and Quinn Curtis of Virginia entitled "Measuring Fiduciary and Investor Losses in 401(k) Plans."  This articled focused on the analysis of investment-related expenses, particularly mutual fund fees, in the 401(k) plan context.
