Blenkinsop of Drinker Biddle’s Intellectual Property and Government & Regulatory Affairs practice groups presented a webinar December 12 on the regulatory, privacy and data security issues relating to mobile health applications. As more companies develop health-related applications for mobile devices, questions arise regarding FDA regulation and pre-approval, as well as privacy concerns, including HIPAA and consumer privacy legislation.
