Private Funds Fundamentals: An LP Legal Bootcamp

Investment management partner Tiffany Reeves presented at the 2026 Institutional Limited Partners Association’s Legal Conference in a workshop titled “Private Funds Fundamentals: An LP Legal Bootcamp,” which examined private fund structures, governing documents, and key relationship dynamics from an institutional limited partner perspective.

The session explored the core legal structures, documents, and governance concepts used in private fund arrangements, as well as the roles, responsibilities, and key terms that shape the limited partner-general partner relationship. Attendees also learned how to apply foundational knowledge to review, evaluate, and discuss private fund investments with confidence.
