Overview
Please join us for the last webinar in our 2025 Business Immigration Series as Faegre Drinker attorneys Beth Carlson, Roger Tsai, Catherine Betts and Catherine Betts discuss the changing landscape of business immigration in 2025 under the new Trump administration, as well as a look ahead at what might be expected in 2026. The focus of this session will include a review of I-9 compliance and enforcement efforts, and companies will continue to learn how to assess internal compliance when faced with external enforcement. In addition to compliance, our speakers will discuss continued reform and changes in work visas, permanent residence and processing times, along with an emphasis on international travel and changes to visa processing at overseas consulates. Our speakers will also discuss emerging topics and what more is expected with the executive order issued in September, including updates on the $100,000 fee for certain H-1B work visas, and proposed changes to the H-1B lottery.
