FINRA Arbitration 2018: Tips, Tricks, and Considerations

Florham Park partner Sandy Grannum spoke at the Current Issues in FINRA Arbitration and Enforcement CLE Workshop in Tampa, Fla., on February 9, 2018. The session also featured Joseph Simms of Koehler Fitzgerald, Scott Ilgenfritz of Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns, Dominique Heller of Wiand Guerra King, and Susan Duff of Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc.

Sandy participated in the session titled “FINRA Arbitration 2018: Tips, Tricks, and Considerations,” which focused on recent rule changes, proposals and commentary that affect the FINRA landscape. Panelists also discussed arbitrator selection considerations, strategies for controlling costs in discovery and expert engagement, tag-along regulatory inquires, and strategies for addressing coverage and collectability issues.
