Securities Arbitration 2017

Overview

Florham Park partner Sandy Grannum chaired the Practising Law Institute (PLI)’s 2017 Securities Arbitration seminar on September 27, 2017, in NYC in person and also via webcast.

This year’s Securities Arbitration program featured FINRA Dispute Resolution leadership and arbitrators, as well as noted academics and experienced attorneys who represent both customers and industry. Faculty provided practical tips for preparing for expungement proceedings. They explored the ethical issues involved in litigating against pro se parties and handling financial fraud cases involving senior citizens. Finally, they looked at the latest hot topics and future trends in securities arbitration for 2018. The seminar offered a total of six CLE credits, two of which are ethics credits.
