Florham Park partner Sandy Grannum discussed “FINRA Securities Dispute Resolution – What Lies Beyond the Task Force?” on Thursday, April 20, 2017. The session was part of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution’s 2017 Spring Conference in San Francisco, California.

This session discussed recommendations from the special FINRA Task Force related to changing rules and procedures. Presenters covered new panel selection strategies as well as expungement, mediation as a first option, and arbitrator quality and diversity. Sandy was joined on the panel by Darlene Pasieczny and Joan Stearns Johnson. Kenneth L. Andrichik, chief counsel for FINRA’s Office of Dispute Resolution, moderated.
