The DOL’s New FLSA Overtime Exemption Rules

Florham Park partner Larry Del Rossi spoke at the 2016 PACE TCPA Washington Summit on September 19 in Washington, D.C. Larry’s presentation was titled, “The DOL’s New FLSA Overtime Exemption Rules” and covered statutory exemptions from overtime requirements, litigation consequences of misclassification and final rule considerations. The DOL’s revised rules are currently scheduled to become effective on December 1, 2016.

The summit covers regulatory issues and the latest changes in consumer protection and risk management. Various compliance, legal and commercial business stakeholders attended the summit.
