Lica Tomizuka Elected to American Law Institute

Real estate partner and Minneapolis office leader Lica Tomizuka has been elected to the American Law Institute (ALI).

The ALI is a private, independent, nonprofit organization comprised of the nation’s leading lawyers, judges, and legal scholars, with membership limited to 3,000 elected members. Established in 1923,  the ALI works to promote the clarification of common law through publishing Restatements of Law, model acts, and other proposals for law reform.

A skilled advisor to commercial real estate and business entities, Tomizuka works with clients at all stages of property development, including financing and acquisition. She graduated from Cornell University, magna cum laude, and the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude.
