In the 2024-25 term, the Supreme Court has once again issued several landmark decisions that will affect the workplace and every American. Among the most significant cases are:
- Trump v. CASA, Inc., in which the Court rejected the concept of universal injunction
- Ames v. Ohio Dep't of Youth Servs., in which the Court determined the standard to applied in cases involving a plaintiff from a “majority” group
- E.M.D. Sales, Inc. v. Carrera, which sets forth the standard for evaluating Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA) claims
- Medical Marijuana v. Horn, in which the Court allowed a civil RICO claim to proceed based on an allegation of lost employment
