Floe International Wins $1.9 Million Patent Infringement Judgment

United States - Minnesota

FLOE International and inventor Wayne Floe won a patent infringement jury trial against rival recreational equipment manufacturer, Newmans' Manufacturing. The verdict followed a seven-day trial that involved field trips to the back alley of the courthouse to view evidence and a mid-trial deposition on the showroom floor of a motorcycle shop. The jury found willful infringement and the court awarded double damages, attorneys' fees, and a permanent injunction.
