Christa E. Head Sindt



Christa Sindt works closely with clients to develop an IP strategy that aligns with — and leverages IP to support — business objectives.

Her practice includes U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution, strategic patent portfolio management, patent infringement and validity investigations, and patent litigation. She also helps clients evaluate and minimize risk by performing freedom-to-operate analyses and providing design-around strategy counseling.

Christa primarily provides advice to clients in the chemical and mechanical arts. Christa’s areas of technical experience include:

  • Agricultural chemicals
  • Polymer science
  • Food chemistry
  • Material science, including 3D printing and vapor deposition materials
  • Process manufacturing

Christa is also a guest lecturer at the Patent Portfolio Management class at the University of Minnesota Law School.
