Overview
Jasman Sidhu efficiently and fervently counsels clients in finance and lending matters. Her practice includes advising lenders and borrowers across the country in connection with complex debt financings and other commercial finance transactions, including syndicated loans and asset-based lending. She has worked on deals involving credit facilities ranging from hundreds of thousands to billions of dollars.
Finance & Lending Representative Experience
- Represented a foreign agriculture and pesticide company as borrower in an international asset-based lending transaction valued at over $1.7 billion. Negotiated two amendments as well as several deposit account control agreements through post-closing.
- Represented a limited liability company, as lender and agent, in a senior secured loan and security agreement. Drafted the senior secured loan and security agreement and managed the overall transaction’s due diligence.
- Represented a large health care corporation as borrower in a bridge loan facility valued at over $1 billion. Drafted ancillary documents including legal opinions, and provided review and comment at the term sheet negotiation stage.
- Represented a large health care corporation as borrower in an acquisition financing valued at over $1 billion. Drafted ancillary documents including legal opinions, and provided review and comment at the term sheet negotiation stage.
Prior Experience
Previously, Jasman was a banking associate at another international law firm in Chicago.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Jasman enjoys attending live music shows, ranging from electronic music to traditional Punjabi music, going on long walks with her pup (Havanese), and spending time with friends and family over drinks and yummy food.
