Sanjyot Sangodkar draws on her experience with genetic medicine, patient care and public health organizations to advise and represent clients as they work to extend the boundaries of human health. American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Sanjyot served as a project assistant with the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, simultaneously coordinating the work of team members in projects focused on medical genetics, telegenetics and increasing medical care for underserved communities, including maintaining a national clinical services directory for underserved patients.

Nonprofit Organizations

Sanjyot has worked with nonprofit organizations focused on improving the environment, economic sustainability and other global challenges. In these roles, she authored technical and educational reports and served as the point of contact for stakeholders, including private sector donors, international partners, and government officials.

United Nations Experience

Sanjyot worked as a special projects officer and capacity building and policy researcher with the United Nations (UN) Office for REDD+ Coordination in Indonesia. In these roles, she developed partnerships between the UN, non-governmental organizations and the Government of Indonesia. In addition, she recruited and supervised an international team of consultants in researching and developing guides on data collection and analysis.
