Overview
Margaret (Margot) Plumart brings a sense of duty and service to client relations and case management. She has a strong passion for international relations and diplomacy, and she finds fulfillment in helping clients achieve success. Margot’s wealth of cross-sector experience includes clients in manufacturing, information technology, pharmaceuticals, higher education, sports and other industries.
As a paralegal, Margot specializes in drafting a wide range of detailed employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, including H, L, E, TN, PERM and Adjustment of Status. Margot also maintains an extensive pro bono practice that has given her experience in family and individual-based filings, including DACA, asylum and U visas. Overall, Margot has developed a well-rounded perspective on immigration law and its impact on diverse communities and industries.
Beyond immigration filings, Margot assists clients with I-9 audits and compliance.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Margot gained valuable experience as a legal receptionist and legal administrative assistant, which provided her with a comprehensive understanding of law firm operations at multiple levels. This insight allows her to advocate for clients more effectively.
Personal Interests
In her free time Margot is a figure skater, acrylic/watercolor painter and world traveler.
