Overview

Emily Mathews McCormick focuses her practice on corporate bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, corporate restructuring and other insolvency matters.  She represents and advises debtors, creditors, lenders and other interested parties in bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior Experience

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Emily practiced as a corporate bankruptcy and restructuring associate at a Wilmington, Delaware-based firm, where she represented large corporate debtors and global financial institutions in complex chapter 11 cases before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Emily also served as a Wolcott Fellow for Chief Justice Collins Seitz of the Delaware Supreme Court.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Emily enjoys taking barre classes and spending time with family.
