Overview
Lindsay Gotwald focuses on relationships and results to create conditions for client growth. She collaborates with Faegre Drinker’s attorneys and consulting professionals to deliver a world-class brand and service experience for the companies who trust the firm with their most sophisticated legal and policy challenges. Lindsay brings practical, hands-on knowledge to every aspect of client development and legal marketing. Her team is responsible for new business development, client growth and retention, global marketing strategies, strategic communications, firmwide campaigns, data management systems and brand identity. During her 15-year career with the firm, Lindsay has developed a definitive understanding of the marketing and business development strategies that produce the greatest return on investment and is a catalyst for forward-thinking initiatives that differentiate Faegre Drinker in a competitive marketplace.

Law firm success is anchored in trusted relationships. Lindsay’s team brings this philosophy to their daily work with Faegre Drinker’s 1,200+ attorneys and consulting professionals, prioritizing the client’s point of view across business development, marketing and communications initiatives. She has been directly involved in growing and retaining many of Faegre Drinker’s largest client relationships and helped establish the first client relationship-focused operations roles at the firm.
Brand Credibility
Lindsay has advised on brand and communications strategies through two of the largest law firm combinations of the last decade — the 2012 combination that formed Faegre Baker Daniels and the 2020 combination that established Faegre Drinker. She focuses on creating brand awareness and boardroom credibility through a combination of consistency, strategic visibility and authenticity. Her team is committed to making every interaction with the Faegre Drinker brand a bespoke, world-class experience for clients and firm colleagues alike.
Personal Interests
Lindsay spends her free time with her husband Greg, daughter Samantha, and family and friends. She enjoys reading, tolerates running and is always up for a trip to the beach, a great glass of wine and/or an episode of The Great British Baking Show. Lindsay also spends time supporting STEM education in her local community through the Ann K. Gotwald Fund for STEM Education, which was established in honor of her daughter Annie, who passed away unexpectedly in early 2024.
