Overview

Zach Fini assists public and privately held companies in connection with corporate matters.

Prior Experience

Before joining the firm, Zach gained extensive experience in intellectual property and sports and entertainment law.

As a senior law clerk at boutique media and entertainment law firm, Zach supported small businesses by researching and filing trademark applications, drafting commercial agreements and preparing USPTO opposition materials. He also trained new clerks and created practical manuals to guide attorneys, freelancers and artists through trademark filings and payment-dispute procedures.

During legal roles with Major League Baseball and the National Football League Management Council, Zach assisted in reviewing and negotiating sponsorship agreements, conducted in-depth legal research to support in-house counsel, organized decades of League records to improve drafting efficiency, contributed to grievance arbitration matters through detailed research and contract review, and helped launch the NFL’s first Salute to Service Career Fair connecting transitioning players with military career opportunities.

Zach also served for 10 years on active duty as a United States Navy Electronic Warfare Officer. He continues to serve as an instructor in the United States Navy Reserve, where he teaches naval aviators and flight officers to fly the EA-18G Growler. He has toured the country performing numerous airshows, managed award-winning aircraft maintenance divisions, advised on aviation training and safety procedures, and flown combat missions in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Zach enjoys cooking, snowboarding and watching the rare occasions where his Giants beat the Eagles.
