Overview
Dan Connolly is a trial lawyer who tries and coordinates commercial, product liability and personal injury cases nationwide in all stages of litigation, including jury trials, appeals, arbitrations and settlements. In addition, Dan advises clients on sports law and defending claims of sexual misconduct.
Personal Injury and Product Liability
Dan has 20 years of experience litigating personal injury, product liability and commercial cases involving automotive, recreational marine and aviation products, as well as many commercial disputes.
Sports Law
Dan has been an advocate for teams and leagues in sports litigation, including lawsuits by current and former players against the National Football League and the National Hockey League, and disputes surrounding the Minnesota Timberwolves, the owners of the Minnesota Vikings, and local teams and their players.
Religious Institution Litigation and Counseling
Dan has represented and counseled many religious and professional organizations regarding legal and legislative issues, including interdenominational disputes. Dan has also advised religious organizations on preventing and responding to claims of sexual misconduct. Under Dan’s leadership, Faegre Drinker has represented denominations and professional organizations in almost 100 sexual misconduct lawsuits throughout the country and has been consulted on hundreds more that did not result in litigation.Related Legal Services
