Overview

Cristina Castanier Kennedy prepares employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including U.S. non-immigrant and immigrant visas, labor certification, adjustment of status, and PERM. Cristina prepares E-3, L-1, H-1B, TN and I-140 petitions. She also assists attorneys and clients with permanent resident and citizenship-related paperwork. She collaborates with both attorneys and legal administrative assistants, who work in concert to meet clients’ needs.

Prior Experience 

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Cristina served as a senior paralegal at a Denver law firm focused on family immigration matters. She prepared FOIA, Advance Parole, DACA, VAWA, Employment Authorization, LPR Renewal, Removal of Conditions, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, and Naturalization applications. 

International Perspective

A dual citizen of the United States and Ecuador, Cristina brings first-hand experience with the immigration process. Arriving in the U.S. at age 8, she navigated through the intricacies of immigration applications herself. She is passionate about assisting others in their immigration journey to the U.S. and providing an excellence in doing so.
